I love being able to see the exhaust from behind, that's one of my favorits things about the old foxbodys. The side view of the car with those pipes riding on the bottom of the 1/4 panel look so good‼

You did a fantastic job. My one favorite thing about the terminators, is being able to see the irs cat back from behind!

That came out great , I wish I knew about the wool before I bought all that sandpaper when I did mine.

I'm 100% gonna do this. I've done this with steel wool on aluminum wheels, frames, and 2 stroke exhausts on dirtbikes and had great success.

Great video! I’m going to try this. Looks like a great alternative to the misery of wet sanding. The results are good enough for me. Thanks

That's so funny I just filmed a video just like this lol. I actually did it before I got the car when it was in the process of being shipped. I did the wet sand method. Nice to see that there are definitely different ways of going about doing this process and getting great results either way. I'm thinking of putting the borla system on tomorrow or tues

Awesome! I placed an order for the two types of bronze wool. I’ll tackle this project sometime next week. My car is garaged and washed about once a week. About how many miles would you say in between repolishes? Thanks!
@justin.c_svt3 жыл бұрын
Not sure how many miles I would go between polishes but once it’s done all you have to do is go back with the mothers mag and aluminum polish

I just bought a 2002 gt with 140k miles and shortly after I got a rod knock. I'm torn on whether I should just sell the car and buy a different one or just replace the engine.
@justin.c_svt4 жыл бұрын
you can get a 01+ crown vic engine pretty cheap these days and swap it in. just change over the oil pan, exhaust manifolds, and all the mustang specific stuff. Ive done it a few times.

How much of a pain would it be to polish the exhaust on jack stands? Just Where the exhaust is sen from the rear?
@justin.c_svt4 жыл бұрын
It wouldn’t be too bad this way. You would want to take it off if you were going to wet sand it the longer way.
