Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski Visits the Philippines on 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations
In his inaugural visit to the Philippines, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of formal diplomatic ties between Poland and the Philippines, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski met with Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo and their respective delegations for a high-level, closed-door meeting.
The discussions aimed to explore joint initiatives, with a particular focus on expanded maritime cooperation through joint operations, information sharing, and coordination between coast guards.
Both Sikorski and Manalo laid out an extensive agenda, including potential partnerships in economic development, defense cooperation, technological collaboration, and strengthening people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
