What do you do if you have a name but with no traceable Polish received records. E.g. Boleslaw Jedwabny

In this case, it would help to first obtain records issued after his emigration - naturalization record draft cards, death record, etc. Also, to try to find the ship manifest from his travel, where his last place of residence should be mentioned.

Unfortunately, the search engine of the dictonary is not perfect. That means that from time to time it happens that the village name doesn't appear in the search results although it does exist in the dictionary. In such case you just need to search the book alphabetically.
