The Polish With Blondes series is the best Polish language series I have seen on the internet. They break things down and tell you WHY things are, instead of only telling you WHAT they are.

Thank you so much for this video. Mostly everywhere, they just start talking about cases and examples but no one explains why they exist and to which part of sentence they'll be applied. Keep up the good work. Wszystkiego najlepszego!

Csesc!. Which grammar case would you recommend as the most important to learn? I have heard, for example, Poles will still understand you if you just use the nominative case. With 7 cases and excluding plurals, 21? possible word endings I should just like to get good value. By the way, is there any particular learning Polish textbook for beginners that you would recommend? My experience has been those written in Polish for students are okropny (horrible) while I have still to find an entirely suitable one written in English. Dobrze pozdrowienia. (if there is such an expression)...

We use all the cases al the time, but if I were to learn them, I would start with the accusative, genitive and instrumental, just like we started in our case. About the textbook, check out an online course 'po polsku po Polsce' (free) (though the instructions are in Polish, it is still pretty easy to follow)

Hi! I wonder whether we use different endings for each word depending on the gender.

yes, there are often different endings for feminine, masculine and neuter nouns, for example: piję sok, piję wodę, nie piję soku, nie piję wody

@@polishwithblondes thanks a lot. I wanted to learn some basic polish since there's a polish guy at our university. I wanted to talk to him in his native language, but now I realize that the language is so hard.
