I once spent a whole night cleaning a filthy stainless steel coffee pot, despite its best efforts to remain dirty. This reminds me of that grand victory. Very satisfying. Also, your dad jokes got a chuckle out of me. That bass/base acid pun was top tier.

FYI fun fact, the zeroth law of thermodynamics describes thermodynamic equilibrium... meaning that the initially hotter tea will never become "cooler" than the mug it is in contact with. :)
