I did Ceramic coat immediately when I left the dealer last year when I got my X7. Nothing like the first rain after the coat when you see the water bead right off. Such a crazy feeling.

It’s been raining pretty heavy here in SoCal recently and it has been amazing! Car stays so clean and it really is a great feeling

If your detailer can’t take isopropyl alcohol to the paint after the cut/polish and prove you didn’t just add swirls, RUN away from that shop.

For me personally, i am not 100% sold on the red and will be more than likely wrapping the car down the line so I didn’t feel comfortable locking in the color on this car yet. I wrapped my evo three times before landing on painting it Porsche Ultraviolet so I tend to be a bit indecisive when it comes to paint options

The cutting compound adds a layer, you could of just added a milllion swirls from cutting and slapping ceramic on top of that 😂😂😂😂

Check for shipping blocks in your springs! Multiple people on the forum are noticing that these aren’t being removed by dealers

Looks good. You can top CSL with Gtechnik EVO for the beading and extra pop up to 2 coats. It's super forgiving on the dwell time. I have them both on my wife's Atlas and soon on my Camaro. I may give your friends a call. I'll be looking for a shop to do the lift kit I just bought for the Atlas. Judging by the background looks like they are in Costa Mesa near Stillen and the airport. Not too far.
