I have noticed some of the new paints that the wipe off can be a bit of a problem, but as you mentioned I'm never afraid to try different products or mix/match. It's the results that count. Great video Phil. 👍🇨🇦

What's is the difference with flex wax and a detailer. What is the reason to use a detailer when you can use TW FLEX WAX OR WET WAX? OR SHeal n shine when it costs 6 7 8 pounds vs 14 16 of Detailer or flex wax?

Definitely have noticed polish wipe off/gumming issues lately in new vehicles. Never had issues before and pad/polish combos haven't changed. For me, a light spritz of distilled water on the pad before I start the machine up has helped.

Yep, my new Camaro SS 1LE it is slightly sticky as well. Optimum hyper polish didnt just wipe off with no effort like I normally experiance. I also put Gyeon can coat EVO and it was a pain as it was very sticky wiping off.

Yes, I I have problems with some new paints. I think its because the chemicals they use to mature the paint. But after thae paint works well.

Great job as always, Phil & Jess! Hey, how are you liking that DIY Details Interior Ceramic Coating spray so far? Seems like a rather unique product, since it can also be used on fabric.

Thanks. So far the application of it is awesome. Spray on everything, work it in and wipe it down. done!

Another great video! Some people use a rinseless wash solution such as ONR to do their wipe offs after polishing seems to help with soft paints. Maybe worth a try?

Your videos are top notch and really have that professional look or production quality. Unfortunately I too have had two or three of these new clear coats but one of the things that's really caught me off guard is how some of the new windows and is not all the windows when this happens but just some of them, after wiping off the Coatings and I tried it with three different Coatings all top brands and what I'm seeing is like a fog that just keeps reappearing on the window after you wipe it off and sometimes takes a day of wiping it off and using panel prep to knock it down a little bit but it's a real pain. But your show today was outstanding to say the least. I'm always amazed that people can get away with 15 mL on a Coating I don't think I've ever gotten through a job using less than 30 ml.

Love the Ed bassmaster look at it reference! Also, are those yellow towels the eagles edgeless (I see those linked) or something else? Looking at ordering some towels for compounds/polishes/sprays that won’t lint Great video!

Hey Phil another great video as usual. Quick question. Have you ever tried Undrdog pro coating? I know its not ceramic based but it does look rather interesting to me. I would love to hear your feedback on it.
@MirandaDetailing2 жыл бұрын
HI. Thanks. Yes I have heard about it and thought about trying it...however because its not a ceramic based coating i don't want to offer it to my customers. So I just stick with the coatings I know and work with most often.

Hi. The SPTA V2 is brushless and runs very smooth and relatively quiet. the Flex is also very smooth and pretty quiet but the SPTA feels like it has more power. we can actually use it for heavy cutting...not for long periods of time of course.

Flex wax has Graphene in it and it’s a stronger sealant. 3-1 detailer is basically a ceramic waterless wash/detailer. Seal and shine is also a ceramic sealant. Just different products for different applications.

Can you ceramic coat a car outside ?
@MirandaDetailing Жыл бұрын
You can but it’s not advantageous because of the weather, dust, pollen, and so on. It’s much better to apply in a controlled environment
