I just done mine, used ( used) 100 grit paper to remove clear coat, sanding in a circle around tube. Then used green scotchbrite 4x6 cut into 2" strips. Used my 3m rubber sanding block in same direction removing leftover clear and continued till it shines, added polish and looks great.

Thanks for the feedback, I would have thought 100 grit was too rough but good to hear it works. Probably would make the job go a bit faster too.

Great video… do you have the name of the Brillo pads from Amazon? What order of colors did you use?

Thanks Jerry. Here is the link, Im pretty sure you can find just the pads and not have to get all the brushes. I used the Black pad to do mine. I didnt see a chart letting you know the levels of abrasion for each. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T8FDKD3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
