DUDE! YOU'RE ALMOST THERE! It's looking more and more like a complete game! You have done an amazing job creating a modern CON game! I remember watching those fake concepts you made many years ago wishing it was true and then the progress of you making this game since the first video was awesome! I don't think I have anything to critique as others in the comments have already mentioned. It's as if my dream of a new game becoming more snd more true. Looks awesome! I hope the game includes more graphics later like the fight intros, endings, and supers. Also Naruto's nine tails cloak. Besides that I'm glad to see this game again! The original's music and animation scenes where always so cool even their openings. Good job!

Looks really nice. But I do have a slight and minor issue (just a slight pet peeve of mine) of how the dust clouds is supposed to track when you recovery roll or when you dash attacking (I guess a heavy + dash?). It makes a really long trail instead of a short trail like in one of the GNT series. (Like GNT Special for instance) But so far, everything is spot on.

Thanks fella. I also noticed somewhat of an error? (Not sure this is worth pointing out) I think the hitspark for the heavy attack is not visible. The only thing that's visible is the lens flare impact. (I think the hitspark is supposed to overlap the lens flare impact during a heavy attack. Which looks more natural than just the lens flare impact imo.) But all in all, your project is all coming together now with a chef's kiss! Cannot wait to see more stuff ahead!

Hmm. What do mean specifically? Keep in mind, these are kids. Panning the camera any further inwards may cause the heads of the taller individuals to get cut off. I don’t think it’s worth it just yet setting custom zooms depending on the selected characters, though I’m not closed to it. But not seeing a good enough justification.

Online is verrryyy far in the future. Much too early to think about things like leaderboards. Also, wouldn’t benefit much in a fan game due to the severe lack of players.

I think the characters should disappear after the hp went to 0, only in 8 player Royale mode, and 4 player mode.

Trust me, it’s soooo much more fun with the corpses laying there 😂 Basically they become almost like stage hazards. Plus it’s funny when you die and your body just be laid out 🤣🤣🤣

@@SweetBaby2GT you don’t trip over them. They just may slightly slow you down if you’re, let’s say, trying to run away. Just adds an extra layer of chaos as players start to die off. GNT SP was the only Wii game to not have some form of stage hazards. I’m not doing formal stage hazards. So the corpses kinda serve that purpose. Less intrusive, but comically chaotic.

long extremely good on this build! however I am concerned a little about the hit stun and stun animation ...concerned about characters recovery being locked in stun for too long after getting hit by a combo may lead to cheesy situations or infinites

Should be of little concern considering my attacks are near frame-perfect recreations of the original attacks, hit stun inclusive.

​@Itsuchi2 But that's the problem. Clash of Ninjas was poorly balanced and hit stuns can be ridiculous. 1:1 is cool and all. But we need modern patches

@@mokaza40 Let’s remember that this is a fan game made by one person… This project is many things, but a perfectly balanced recreation of the previous games is not what this is. You might want to check out the Super Clash of Ninja 4 mod. That’s basically what they’re doing.

I learned a lot at university. But most is self taught through this project. Part of the reason I commit so much time to it. This is teaching me how to create a game.

Unity is a good engine if you already know how to program (C#). But there’s even some dev tools out there that don’t require programming skills. You can drag/drop actions. Though it’s just a bit more limiting that way for obvious reasons. But can still make some decent stuff.
