You should really invest in a good compressor and a polisher. I started here also and was reluctant to buy, but it changed everything for the better. 100% worth the investment

I got Quartz counters but they scratch very easily and I was cleaning something and I used the green side of a sponge and now the shine came off in some parts and I want to add the shine back to some scratched and dull parts. Is that possible? or are they ruined forever? and if I can buff them out how and with what polishing pads can I use?

You can try this Granite and Marble Polish - Cleans and Protects - Italian Craftsman 16 oz www.amazon.com/dp/B01BHC3RZY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_G29AXCTM5Q29ZHZ789G5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 But it will wear off and you’ll need to keep adding it. Is that or wax and clean rub with cloth or 00000 grit wool. That wax bring the shine back but most likely get dirty on that surface. That’s the quick way hack way. The other is having it polish completely by a professional

That product will not work properly on quarts and the shine will not be the same as the rest of your tops. quarter is non porous so the product has no way of going in your quarts like natural stone. If they are just scratch’s Lacquer thinner and FINE dust like what sits at the bottom of you vacuum used together can take out almost any scratches. These are most common on the edges from exposed belt buckles. Or on the surface from metal appliances being dragged across it.

Quit messing with it specially if it’s quartz you’re just going to end up making it worse just call a good granite shop and they should be able to shine up your counter tops I know you’re probably trying to go the easy way out or the cheap way out but this one of those things that will end up costing you big if you try to cut corners or expenses in this case I see it all the time since I do this for a living 😅

@@FishingINthe23 not every company can surface polish especially quartz. It can be done but you better invest in some Donkey pads aka monkey pads to really be successful

Got anxiety from the intro with the guardless angle grinder. Have had a couple of kickbacks and it shreds through anything near by a lot harder than your body.
