Sub culture refers to the different people of country diverse in ethnic , religion etc due to they have different type of culture . Like Tamil and sinhala sub culture in Sri Lanka , hindu muslim sikh Christian sub culture in India , catholic and calvinist etc

Features of sub culture are ... Distinctive identity .. sub culture carry their distinct identity which is different from the main culture . Norms and belief .. it have diferent norms , beliefs in that and their practices , fashion , dress , music , art , dance and rules of marriage , festival everything is different . Social boundaries .. sub culture established boundaries that separate them from the dominant and other sub culture . Genrally associated with minority and sub altern culture .

Almond and verba give three ways of the subject ... Parochial ... In which people are not aware of their subject means cultural institution . Subject ... When people aware about the institution . Participative ... When people are aware about the institution and participated also happens .

Almond and verba study of the five nation usa , uk , Italy and Mexico .. define the civic culture .. firstly parochial culture .. in which people do not have knowledge about the politics example some poor countries like Africa etc . Subject culture .. in which people have the knowledge about that there culture but powerlessness to participate like rural India during Mughal and Britishers time .

People belief , values , attitude and orientation towards politics and politics influence by the culture of the country . Almond and verba on the basis of empirical study of 5 nation gives 3 ideal type parochial , subject and participative . They aware the concept the civic culture . 1963 Dennis kabagarh political culture 1972 explained the sub culture that there are different sub culture between that . Advantage forwarde straight and forward defination about political culture but also generalisation doing is not right in that case overlapping seen also sub culture also there there is not single culture there.

Sub culture .. it leads to diversity and complexity in a country . Different type of culture found with different aspiration , norms and values . They followed different customs , tradition , value etc . They have different political attitudes, behaviour , practices etc . Conflict .. conflict can be also seen between main culture and sub culture . Social movement .. lot of time seen that social movement started by the sub culture by coming in culture and form collectivism identity . Like kisan adolan and Muslim on ca amendment . Power dynamics .. power problem also seen between the sub culture and main culture because sometime it became problem for minority culture to come in power . Policy implication .. by studying the challenged and problem in a sub culture so that policy maker can take decision according tothat . Influence on political behaviour .. their pattern of voting and thinking also influence by their culture . Polical system .. different type of culture impact the politics their policies heor symbol and their agenda where politics happens on caste based .
