The great thing about the killzone series is that there is no "good" or "evil". The helghan are ruthless but want to keep their freedom and want vengeance after Vecta exterminated them almost twice.The ISA appear to be the good guys most of the time but they started the whole genocidal mess at the beginning. Rico "heroically" shoots an unarmed POW and brings whole helghan down on the remaining ISA troops. And at the end of KZ 3 our "heroes" dropped weapons of mass d. on WHOLE helghan.

I can only sympathize with Visari and the whole Helghast nation for that matter. All they wanted was to be free, independent. I felt dirty having played as the ISA all the time when I found that out.

Yeah many people believe so because in this video and in the opening scene of KZ3 his eyes are dark brown, while in the opening of KZ2 his eyes are light-blue.

And that's without digging into the government. He said he would grant more power to the people, to give them freedom. But he instituted a dictatorship when he ascended to the throne, and made every single position on the government hereditary, meaning a government ruled entirely by families of nobles. And all of them spend their peoples' lives callously on a whim. Freedom? Quite the opposite.

But UCN punished the Helghan people, their civilians who were innocent, they also bombed the helghan cities on Vekta, took their property, placed the helghan civilians as sub-citizens... And the list goes on and on, which, though it doesn't justify the actions of the helghast, it surely make them comprehensible...
