Ah, I love your videos, man.. so, I have a fun anecdote for you: I got banned from throwing hatchets by my friends after a bit of an incident. So, we had made a bonfire and there was a standing dead tree we were all chucking a hatchet at--why? we were bored!--and my friends all managed to get it to stick into the wood, or have its momentum almost cancel when it hit the tree. Then it was my turn. I threw it like a Francisca axe--it hit the tree, bounced off, and kept rolling. However, I apparently applied too much rotation to it, and wound up apply some counter-rotation, as when it hit the ground, it rolled STRAIGHT TOWARDS US! No one got hurt, but we all ducked behind the fallen log we were using as a bench. That was hilarious, however we realized that we could've gotten seriously hurt, so we didn't mess with it anymore on that day. I genuinely didn't know I could apply that much force to a weapon that it would turn into a wheel of death upon hitting the ground (not really--it was dull as heck, but it still was moving fast enough on the ground that it could've broken someone's ankle, of that, I have no doubt!). Ah, good times.. I miss that lot. Thanks for giving me a chance to wander down memory lane, mate; hope ya have a lovely day.

This is a really useful study on the mechanics of a often mystified part of our world. It was enlightening and helpful. As a hobbyist writer, I came up with a fantasy world where physical strengthening is a thing, and therefore bows and arrows are less preferable than heavy throwing spears as the spears can carry 100% of the force of the person throwing them, where as bows would be firing arrows with the force of what the produced bow can create. So the Straight Flight method was very enlightening for me, and might be able to be used in my fiction almost no one will ever see. Also, props for the humor on the breathing of fireballs.
