I’ve been listening to Politikz since his breakout song Real Hip-Hop came and out in 2015 and I have to say that he is by far one of the most influential rappers of our generation. Not only is he able to rhyme while keeping a constant flow, he also shows us the problem with our current generation. People should be more alert to the real problems of our society instead of listening to rappers like Drake and any lil. Politikz has deep meanings in his lyrics and I think that he should be more appreciated since he brought the underground hip-hop back and made me open my third eye. He only has 2 songs but I’ve been listening to them daily since 2015 and I just can’t stop. I can’t listen to Drake or any other rapper besides him. Politikz has truly blessed my life and made me see the world in a whole different perspective. I can go as far as claiming him the Morpheus of our generation because his lyrics are like the red pill that explains the harsh knowledges and brutal truths of reality. And if you’d rather stick to any other rapper it will be like taking the blue pill where everything is a luxurious illusion and lies of our society.

I mean, I am not a fan of mumble rap especially, but I do admit that trap rap and mumble rap have a different utility than the classic shit they are praising. The lyrics - in mumble rap - are usually about just fun, easily digestable topics, they do not go very deep, and I think it is fine. If you need that, you can always listen to Kendrick, Tyler the creator, some of Kanye's older projects, Freddie Gibbs and so on. Trap rap is a new brench of hiphop that needs improvement, and I guess there are artists that are on a freaking good track right now to do that(Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Roddy Ricch). There is a difference between lousy and good trap, and I guess they need to be recognized.

To be fair, Crypt didn't even wanna do it in the first place because he knew that idea was played out at that point. The only reason he did it is because he's close friends with Luke Gawne.
