Fine, great technic, but do you know the lyrics of that great tune and do you think, your improvisation does fit with these lyrics? Less would be more in my opinion. But nevertheless, you are a very good player. K.r. H.U.B.

Wonderful technique and facility!! You make that mouthpiece speak like it’s a metal piece! What mouthpiece are you playing on? Great stuff! Classy

Wow, thank you! Yeah, this a fantastic mouthpiece! I actually think it plays more like metal but with the comfortable mouthfeel of ebonite. It's a Vandoren Jumbo Java T95

I was thinking the same thing! I’m normally a metal guy but I think you sound great on that piece and should stay right there! Beautiful!

@@Jazzsaxman1 Does the T95 mean a .95 opening? If so, what reed and size do you use. Hey I'm like your Grandpa 80 next month. I would appreciate hearing from you. I played a Metal Runyon "10" here in my later years, I tried many. I played a Berg Lawson in the 50's like everyone else in New Orleans at the time. Thanks for your time and consideration Chris. You sound as good as anyone I've listen to in my life. I like all of the best, but Dexter Gordon is my favorite. Being so, I even heard a thing or two that he did that did not impress me. I'll admot that I'm am jealous of all who went to Julliard like you and Ralph Moore. Self taught like me doesn't cut it friend.
