Brilliant Joanne I am so glad you are in fine fettle I knew you years ago when I lived in Saltaire Now I live quite some distance away. I have only been back once and that was attending a funeral of an old friend about 2 years ago

Thank you Roger I'm glad you like it. Hope you're keeping well. Can you remind me where we met...?😊

@@joannecrowther-Lucienne I honestly do not remember where we met and who were intermediary friends. This is going back 20 years. I remember you either worked at a Uni or later managed to get a position. I remember you as a very optimistic person and it seems you are still like that. I believe at the time - and I am careful with what i reveal here - you lived at the top end of Leeds Road. I am not on any social media so it is difficult to give further info on this open site. very best regards and yes despite my age I am in very good health and battling on.

Hi Joanne! Thanks for sharing this lovely video with youtube. I had fun watching it and exploring this extremely fascinating village, I will definitely go have a wander on a nice sunny day and try to find buildings and things you pointed out in the video! If only there were more people like Titus, seems like he really cared about his community! Also, very nice meeting you, you injected me with so much positive energy for a full day! Love, Aleks. x

Nicely put across Joanne, and a very informative video, which l have no doubt will encourage people to visit wonderful Saltaire. I shall look forward to any videos which you put together in the future. How about Bradford Museums? Plenty of scope there. The Industrial Museum with the furnished back to backs, Mill Managers House, and Transport Gallery which includes lots of vintage Jowett cars plus a steam locomotive tram, and trolleybus. And lots more.. Bolling Hall Cartwright, Cliffe Castle. All wonderful museums in their own right and in the Bradford district. Regards Richard.

What a charming video of the history of Saltaire. Great references to local history and great PR for the area. Well filmed and beautiful musical interludes. Is there more in the pipeline I feel a series of other places would be advantageous, howarth, bradford etc. Thanks
