Jack I'm super glad you got back into growing the giant pumpkins this year. They are lots of fun. But I bet the elephants at the zoo are glad you're still doing watermelons too because they definitely like when you bring the watermelons to them as a treat lol!

Thanks for sharing your whole setup and the process you have to go through. It's very similar to how I have to pollenate zucchini in my backyard. It's hard work but obviously you love it. I've been interested in how you do this since I've watched your previous giant pumpkin videos and I've loved it the past few years when you take the giant watermelons to the elephants at OKC zoo.

dang Jack. I was hoping for more info but all I could see is grass and weeds. If you don't get excited growing pumpkins and watermelons anymore maybe you should change your channel into what you do love to do. I mean, it's sad for us gardeners that want to learn to grow big melons and pumpkins that work hard on our gardens, but is it ok to let weeds grow alongside our pumpkins? If that's ok please tell us. If it is then I'll just grow those two items because then it'd be too easy to grow giant pumpkins and world records would be set every year. I couldn't grow a pumpkin or watermelon my whole life. I guess I just did it wrong.

Jack is aware the garden needs some work. He mentions it several times in his update. We have had a ton of rain lately and he’s a typical teenage boy who has slacked off. We spent 3 days at the lake as well. He will catch it up soon I’m sure. 😊
