@@DivineFate900 I used to live in Santa Barbara, where he has home. He came into a bookstore I worked in a couple times, and his wife came with him, she was nice too. I helped him find en encyclopedia once. Another time, his wife and he came up to the info desk I was working at, and then he wandered over to the coffee shop section. Then this college age kid came rushing it up to the spot he’d vacated and gasped “WAS THAT JOHN CLEESE? OH MY GAWD I LOVE HIM!” And went on and on about how great Cleese was, right next to MRS. Cleese. I just kept agreeing with him, but she and I had our eyes locked, trying not to laugh. And I gave her a look that said “Does this happen a lot?” And she gave a little nod. It was pretty funny.

Basil will have been fuming for half the episode over someone taking his car. He will then become more enraged when he sees it return with a smashed front and missing bumper, but once he sees that the Major (his favorite resident) is behind the wheel he will downplay the whole situation. The Major will only then realize that that he had taken the wrong car, and Basil will find some way to blame everything on Manuel.
