Update : Now my Polo Automatic Headlights work using the Factory Fitted Rain Light sensor after my BCM Max Upgrade. So guys here's a really simple retrofit everyone with a Polo Vento Ameo and Rapid can do in minutes. I did not cover this in great detail since there are plenty of nice videos out there on this very same upgrade. In the market are plenty of Automatic Headlight Switch Sensor kits. Some have external sensors, some sensors are modified and installed right into the switch itself. While finding one for yourself, just keep an eye of the number of pins as some cars might have a T10 (10 pin headlight switch e.g. Vento HL+) while most Polo, Vento and Ameos have a 17 pin connector in the car. Vento HL+ owners with LEDs just need a new Auto Headlight Switch.

@@hammadvhora Highline+ with LED Headlights requires just a switch and coding. We've done it on dozens of Vento HL+ cars.

Hey bro..! I got the same setup in my polo..! I am able to set up the auto headlamp for the halogen headlamps... Can we program it for DRLs to be turned on while unlocking?

My light switch doesn’t pull out when I press it and switch to the parking light to pull it out. No matter the force, it doesn’t come out. How?

You have to push it in and then turn to the parking light mode to be able to pull it out. You'll hear spring clips disengage.

For polo 1.2 tsi is this just a plug and play method? Means that I just have to change the switch and it's good to go.

Yes, for Polo 6R, it is plug and play as described.

Hi Sujoy. I have good quality HID for my low beams. Will this feature drain my battery ?

It depends on how your HID is wired. If it has been correctly wired with a fuse that only ignition switches then it shouldn't drain your battery.

Nope, you need a AutoHeadlight Module. No coding involved.

Also, does the polo have the light sensor as well as the rain sensor? Is it just a case of retrofitting the BCM Max? And is the BCM Max readily available in India?

@@rajivkrishnan4006 The Polo has a RLS (Rain Light Sensor) but the BCM Max Retrofit is not straightforward for Polo and will most certainly void your warranty. No, the Indian Vento with LED Headlights has a BCM High, but officially no Polo, Vento, Rapid was sold in India with a BCM Max.

Yes sure. This was freely available on Aliexpress, but quite a few retrofit folks and private sellers in India will continue to have stocks of these.

But if you wish to stick to a Halogen Bulb, then do have a look once on Powerbulbs UK. They have a wider range of Philips XtremeVision and Racing Vision GT200 bulbs which are far more superior than stock Halogen H7 Bulbs.
