Definitely. This might be off-topic, but I was on my new R15 V3 waiting at the stop light right before the zebra crossing and there was a fortuner AT behind me. He was desparately honking because he wanted to come in front me, right over the zebra crossing. After numerous honking by him, I took the side of the lane and he was in front of me with a very proud smile, that he made me move out of his way, NVM. He launched his car when the signal had 3 seconds left, a usual thing done by these douche bags. I later smoked him very badly. Was quite satisfied busting his ego

The driving dynamics of Ford are the best in straight line acceleration and speed, but vw vento and polo are more stable at cornering. Even though figo produces 215 BJP, it's faster than the 1.5 or 1.6 tdi engines that have 250bhp output. (0-120 kmph acceleration) But you know what, tdi pulls strongly even after 140kmph, figo does reach 195 but is very sluggish after 160kmph. Tdi pulls strongly after 160kmph too. Hence the 'rocket'

TDI has maximum torque at 2k RPM, max power (torque x rpm) at 3K-3.5K rpm, no sense in going beyond 3.5k rpm, when speed is < 100km/h. Please correct if my analysis is wrong.

You are right. Have to shift at peak power rpm range for best acceleration. It's midrange in diesels and near redline in petrols, here he is redlining diesel engine unnecessarily thinking it looks cool...lol no point coz power drops after 3.5k rpm and high revving a diesel will damage the engine in the long run
