To be completely honest, they're "a breath of fresh air" bc they sample Romanian and Brazilian and North African and other "eastern" music, that's basically what they have to thank for their careers, but if you ask western people if they'd like to listen to music from those countries they scoff and laugh at you. When French people play our music it's cool all of a sudden though. Basically in western people's minds our countries are pathetic worthless bleak desolate shitholes to sneer at until western europeans "discover" that hey, these people actually have some worthwhile culture that we can use to be unique and cool.

when I have to solve technical questions in my math + computer sciences degree I hear this set in the background. It does not draft too much attention but rather help focus and not get bored when formulating and formalizing some proofs or technical schemes. Thank you polo& pan for a great music to pass the studying time. I missed your show in my country but hopefully next time you come here I go for sure.
