Features of scientific theory .. in this work is divided into small small pieces and each worker do their some part of work they did not know the end result of the work . Workers don't have to used their own mind for their worker they have to work like machine . Their work is hectic and person payed according to the work they done if done less so given less if more so given more .

Pros and cons of scientific management ... Pros .. it increased the amount of work that produced . Maintain good management between workers and management . Increases the wages of the workers and profit for the manager and reduced price for the consumer . Coms .. It de skills the knowledge of the worker de humanise because it make human like robot or machine . Doing same task everyday make work dull .person loose their interest . Worker became alienated from the work because they did not know the end result of the work .

I appreciate ur point...wherever specific authors/ critics hv criticized any thought/thinker, I mentioned their names. But in many cases difficult to attribute them to any specific authors...in some case it is my own assessment...in my view for UG students mentioning authors is not necessarily expected...but will keep ur point as good suggestion ...good wishes...

Sir can I ask you this unit seem very lengthy as it contains different different theories & prepectives of diff diff scholars so it's a request if u could tell me mostly which topics are important it seems like each theory given by scholars are important my mam is giving me this Unit for our IA this week so How do I prepare all these together for 10 marks it's a lengthy topic

you may leave few theories for exam purpose. Don't see them as different stand alone theory; they are linked. Try to understand them as one whole. Taylor's scientific mgt theory was supplemented by HR theory of mayo; Simon's rational approach was new but again related...try to find the linkages and continuity in all these theories...they all were part of an integrated exercise to find solutions to managing man & machine at work place- organisation.
