This was my first car :) From 1986, with no electric starting, just the choke and starting lever by the choke. Sometimes, during the winter (-5 to -10`C), it must have been started driving downhill on the second gear with the clutch and gas pedal on and off.

Super sprawa! W dawnych czasach gdy byłem szczęśliwym posiadaczem takiego "maluszka", pierwsze co zrobiłem to: zamontowanie tyrystorowego zapłonu / własnoręcznie wykonanego/ Podnosił on energię iskry 1k. a zapłon pracował już od 7V, zatem nie straszny był spadek napięcia na akumulatorze podczas rozruchu. Tu autor filmu nie pokazał jaka temp. jest na zewnątrz, a mój maluszek odpalał dokładnie tak samo jak na filmiku, przy temp. -21 st/C Wystarczyło aby rozrusznik choćby pół obrotu wykonał wałem - bajka!

This was the Polish version of the Fiat 126. They were pretty popular in Poland and Hungary during the Eastern Bloc days, but they have a mixed reputation. Some folks say they were unreliable from day one, while others say they were able to drive them all around Europe without any major problem. My friend's family had one in the '90s and I was riding in it a few times, but I don't really have any real experiences with them, my family used to have Trabants and Ladas back in those days.

@@credoeconell nekunk anno volt 2 trabantunk (a merkurtol), soha nem hagyott ott egyik sem, ellentetben ezzel a lengyel szemettel. volt hogy ugy feltuzesedett a motor, nem lehetett leallitani, csak az elfolytassal. baratnomeknek is volt anno, ok is utaltak, toltak-vontak, szar volt na. a trabant nagyobb, megbizhatobb, jobban pakolhato, elhetobb auto volt mint a kispolak. a bmw meg nyilvan jobb auto -nem egy kategoria a ketto- nem is tudom hogy jott ide a bmw. mondjuk en nem szeretem a bmw-t, de ez egyeni dolog.

A lényeg, hogy érteni kell hozzá. Kitakarítottam a teljes üzemanyag rendszert és be állítottam a gyújtást. Érteni kell a karburátort is hiszen ha gázt adsz neki mikor szivatón van akkor semmit sem ér. A legfontosabb a törődés és a szeretet 😄.

The tiny little Maluch feels very cold and needs to be warmed up and driven. I would honk in respect at the driver and at the Maluch it represents Polish car industry better than any car from Poland. I’m not even polish but I know how iconic the car is and that’ll do for me.

Just because its cold doesn't mean it wasnt running 30 seconds before so theres still a fresh petrol vapor in the cylinders. Run car for 15 second>stop>get out and lock. Start video.
