Great video Steve. I'm the same, tried a bunch of bars, settled on Polybar some time ago. Easy to configure and customize, does what I need, and looks good. 'Nuff said.

Man that is some good stuff there OTB! I use polybar and it is dead simple once ya get you head around how the modules work. :-) I have used a conky for a bar in my Spectrwm I would not know how to ack with a polybar... Lol Hay go rid the beast! Thats what it's for... :-P Thanks for a awesome video to refer too! Cheres OTB! LLAP

Sorry I’ve never tried. Maybe delete the existing panel and then start it up from the startup items menu
