Is there a way that if you select a track with more than 16 steps, to have the sequencer jump to the the pages 17-32, 33-48 and 49-64 for that particular track while playing?

There is not. I would recommend coping the sequence using variations with the steps you want to jump to as step 1 instead of 17 for example. Hold Shift + the variation you want to jump to to instantly jump variations.

I bought may Play 13 months ago, if I was to upgrade it would mean that a Polyend Play + would cost around £1100 excluding the return shipping costs. Not sure this will sit well with early adopters of Polyend Products and will make people think twice because the Play was only launched in June 2022, meaning that Polyend product lifespan is roughly 17 months before they launch a new version. £150 upgrade price would be fairer, or a variable upgrade price based on proving the purchase price and whether it was bought new or used. Also if you upgrade and decide to return the Play + you won't get a Play back only £399 store credit - from Polyend - *Terms and conditions - refunds and returns are accepted. In the case of Play+ returns the original device will not be returned to the customer, and the upgrade credit of $399 will be issued as store credit. Monetary payment minus shipping fees will be returned via the payment method used at checkout.

Logically I imagine the OG was released with a lower quality CPU, and in order to achieve these engines they needed to upgrade. The Play was never advertised as having Synth engines nor shared that it would. I do appreciate they are offering existing users anything.

I mean, this is how capitalism and products work with EVERY other product on the market that you buy. Why would this be any different? Buy something for the features it has, not for the features you think you will get for free later. And just because there's a new version, do you really need it? Does it make yours all of a sudden useless? You did your research and decided to buy it for what it was, right? So just don't buy the new one and enjoy what you have.

​@@briannhinton Exactly. And there was a chip and hardware shortage and a pandemic. But even if there wasn't, they released a finished product that did a set number of things. Now, people are acting like the first version was somehow incomplete, and this is the real version they are owed for free or for much less? I don't get it. I love my original Play for what it does. That's why I bought it.

@@harveytherobot It doesn't make it useless at all and I have no plan to replace it, I mainly use it for sequencing external synths, however the short timeframe that Polyend roll out new versions of their devices may put off potential buyers in case another version is released next year. Whilst this model is normal for smartphones, it is not something that is usual with this type of equipment.

399 is way too much for upgrade, especially people who bought the unit brand new. £199 should be the maximum for users who bought it new. 2nd hand users, yeah make them pay the 399, then at least there is some resale value left in a MK1

@@thethrillofnoskill4521 that's not lowering the upgrade price that's them preserving the market for the Play by keeping it available so they have a channel to dump all the returned upgrade units IMHO. I would bet you dollars to doughnuts they're going to R&R the retuned Play units, put new casings on them and sell them as new units to all the people clamoring for half price Play units. Once all that crap runs out I bet they outright dump the Play and all that will be left is Play + at $800 or whatever.
