I just took my first test run with the new synth engines, and I'm in love. They're a little bare bones, and a little lo-fi, compared to what I'm used to, but the tones they create are still fairly warm, and dynamic sounding. You've completely revived my love for this machine.

I would love to see a sampler instrument for the midi tracks. This way I can play chords into the tracker. It would be cool to stack notes on one track.

The "patches" folder needs to be placed on the root directory.

Feel a disappointed with the ui for the synths so far. I was hoping it would be quick and easy to edit and preview changes but, unless I'm missing something, it feels a bit of a slog to the extent I probably won't use them much. Cycling through and previewing the various presets is a slow process too. For workflow the fastest way of getting some nice synthy sounds is still the granular synth. Wish they added a built in tuner as I'm using my phones guitar tuning app to tune things. Otherwise a nice update but I am a little unsatified as adding cool synth engines was high on my wish list. They sound nice but the tracker mini is a fast workflow machine and the synths ui grinds me to a holt.

Added synths was one of the big things I wanted added. There’s still a lot of room for improvement with the device but this is a nice step up to a cool device.

My firmware update did capture the synth Presets -- I put the synth Presets folder in the root folder but my synths only uploaded with Init patches. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem when I wanted to use a new 512gb sd card…make sure you delete(but backup)everything on the card and then unzip the update,copy the pt file to your system and the patches folder..then flash the firmware to 2.0 when done you go to your new synths and click twice on load presets they should now appear..I’m starting from scratch but maybe you can add your other data later,don’t make the mistake of moving the patches,hope this works let me know how you get on😊

Don’t copy the patches folder to your system folder though to be clear

I put Firmware 2.0 in the Firmware folder of SD. Where should I put the Patches folder in SD?

You don't have to use hex with this, you can change it in the settings

I hope that if there will be no more updates to the OG Tracker, Polyend would be so cool to release its firmware as open source. Just look at Deluge and the open source community there! ❤
