Just brought one off the strength off this video, have been toying with the idea, but this sealed the deal. I love this little machine, and sampling off the built in FM radio is sheer genius, its a huge gamble one in a million shots and ive already got some awesome snippers of presenters, bits of music etc

This was a nice refresher course. I hadn't used the Tracker in a long time, and between my forgetfulness and the many updates, I was intimidated about getting back into it. Nice beats, too!

I've got one the notorious ones with the dodgy jogwheel and I still love the damn thing

So cool. The art of sampling on any machine is wonderful, and this vid made this particular machine seem more approachable. The sample trimming looks super nice visually. I like the big colored buttons for the four parameters of each step and being able to play in chords in like that. The rendering seems like a solution to the Circuit Rhythm's mono limitation, although people speak of stealing voices from adjacent tracks.

I love my synthesizers, but Tracker might be the most valuable piece of gear I own.

Pretty convincing BOC homage there with “These Are Just Numbers.” Great tutorial. Polyend are quickly becoming top-shelf makers with this and now the Play. Such powerful devices with a footprint (and price) that can find their way into almost any studio. The ultimate portable tandem.

The only thing I would change are the clicky keys. I wish they were a bit more quiet. Except for that, I'm really having a blast with mine.

Hah... I noticed that clicking on loads of videos before I got it. It makes me feel like I'm hacking into the 80s.

This is the best layout of the tracker and the application at the end, and then to tie this all up of showing its performances. Bravo! I already bought the tracker, month ago, but I think this would have easily convince me, or anyone else to get one. I like that you showed that you don't have to be a professionally level instrument player of a keyboard or any other instrument, but just assign any sound to the pads and compose them to however you want.

That was super inspiring, thanks so much for sharing. It is like a smaller music production studio portable solution, great to make music, live performance, or even sequencing other instruments and recording :)

How do you delete the polyend tracker demo songs?
@StarskyCarr2 жыл бұрын
Just load the SD card into something else and delete from there, I've never tried on the machine itself.

Great to see new videos demonstrating the Tracker, even nowadays when the device is already on the market for a while! I own and love the Tracker, and every video helps to pick up some things one might not have considered so far. The editing in the no-talk demo part is soo excellent! For similar videos, you might consider to include a disclaimer whether you bought the Tracker yourself, whether it's a sponsored video or whatever (not suggesting that you're doing covert advertising, it's just nice for the viewer to know whether any of it is the case, or not).

@@MrKeys57 it's an entirely sample - based workflow and it comes with some stuff loaded for demonstration purposes, both in the form of premade tracks and some extra stuff thrown in beyond the samples used there to give you a hands-on experience right away without requiring you to start from nothing. I do need to dig mine out at some point and mess with it.
