Great review video 😉👍 I also submitted to your channel 😊 I was so bummed when I found out that the polygel product that I did a review of on my channel ruined. It was way to soft, so I needed to much solution and it never dried fully in the lamp. I still could scrape it off with my fingers 😭 But luckily I got a new one and it's a whole other story. Tfs😆

Great tutorial. Love the design. I wear my nails only pink and buff it to shine or topgel. Polygel looks just like the Magnetic Nail Design UV-acrylic I use. The only thing is tht Polygel is already mixed and ready also easier to apply. Both need to be cured so I dont know whats more beneficial financial wise like how long does for example 2 tubes (french mani) last for? I feel like uv-acrylic (liquid&powder) last longer. But I could be wrong 🤔🤓

Hi there! Very well explained! About how long does it take you to do a full set with tips like this with the polygel? I find polygel is taking me longer than acrylics, but I also tend to shape and reshape the polygel prior to cure because I'm OCD! :(
@isabelmaynails7 жыл бұрын
Sooner Chick thank you :) I am finding polygel very quick probably 1:30-2hours depending on design!! Practice makes perfect so don’t worry yourself too much 😊 one tip I have is spend a little less time with the polygel on initial application before cure as it is so easy to file a shape compared to acrylic !! Hope that makes sense 🙈😚🌸💅

❤️ the video! I am not a nail tech, I just self taught and I've been using IBD builder gels for about 6 years. I'm sort of drawn to this product because it is difficult to do more than 1-2 nails at a time in the IBD without curing at least breifly because the product will slide so easily. Is this product safe on nail beds like what I'm using? It is a process of bonder, gel building, and top coat yes? Is filing necessary for any reason or is it difficult to just sculpt the desired shape, cure and apply top coat? Any pros or cons, I could use new product soon but I don't want to make a large investment unless I'm sure I will like it. Can I use my IBD gel bonder and top coat w this? Do you think it is easy enough for me to self teach if I have successfully done IDB gel on myself for several years?
@isabelmaynails6 жыл бұрын
thank you, polygon is quite different to hard gel, and I am not sure if you can buy this unless you are a qualified nail technician. But it is a lovely product to use and does not move around so you can do the whole hand in one go which is amazing xx

hi isabel, do you have any tips on how to become friends with polygel? everyone is so enthusiastic about it. but I don't like it. and I don't like that 😏 ..... I got gelish poly gel about a week ago and I've been playing with it between doing tips and forms and I can't get it to where the tips don't bend or when I knock them on something they immediately break off The tip. I normally don't have a problem when I use acrylic or dip powder with any of this so I was wondering if the poly gel is just super Bendy or if there is something I need to do that I missed

Priscilla Payne my clients can go up to 6+ weeks wear (obviously I do not recommend this and 99% of my clients go 3+ weeks between each appointment) and they are still fabulous! Polygel is definitely best as a natural nail overlay or used for extensions over tips! In my experience sculpting does not work as well! Xxx
@priscillapayne16096 жыл бұрын
Isabel May Nails awesome! I was practicing with polygel today. Do you have any tips as far as prevent lifting. Do you do the ph bond and pro bond from gelish? Before applying? I noticed when practicing today that I was filing too much and didn't realize the product went so fast.
@isabelmaynails6 жыл бұрын
Priscilla Payne yes I recommend to always use a full system especially when is comes to something like polygel! It makes all the difference! Polygel is very soft so be gentle haha I did the same fist time I used it! Lol haha 😆 xxx
