It makes me understand about C levels, and also makes me feel confident that I am upper B1 level by myself! While studying, with feeling many ups and downs, I underestimated me a lot. I am getting fluent every day! I can communicate with my tutors in English well. I make mistakes, but it’s okay. I’ll just keep going! 🕊️

Teacher Conner's easy listening videos improve my self-esteem. There's nothing worse than watching an audio in English with native speakers and not understanding anything. Since I still have limited listening skills, every day I watch TV series (Friends, Breaking Bad, etc.) alternating with Teachers Conner, A J Hooge, Tiffany and other excellent ones.

I totally agree with you. I've been fighting to get fluent in english, and I've been making a lot of mistakes. first point is: don't care about that! I'm am a NFL fun, and first times I watched the game I was shocked because I didn't understand anything of what the commentators said. Now I think to be able to understand 50% in one NFL season. In conclusion, even for medium english level is a good advice to find native contents, at the beginning is really frustrating, but then you'll get satisfaction. thanks for all

Hello. I have a question about listening. I’m listening to Dr. Jeff McQuillan’s podcasts. So far, I’ve listened for 200 hours over the past 6-7 months. However, I recently found out that this is quite little. First, I listen to a new podcast once and try to understand it. Then, I read the transcript. After understanding everything, I follow the transcript while listening again. Later, I put the transcript aside and just listen. I regularly re-listen to previous topics. I would like to know if my listening skills will improve if I continue like this. Do you have any additional tips for improving listening skills?

he is right and morever native content are just C1 and C2 level he is right i think that You don't need to use C2 level videos online because it's just unusual for instance , someone can make a cake i don't think that i need to use a video to teach him how to make a cake it's the same thing i belive that it's a message behind his video. You can use this type of contents if you are a starter. just like a starter in a baker he needs to be taught by someone but when he can reache the level to make a cake he does not reallt to have help from anyone. I hope you undersand my point of view. Good video i love him, i'm agree with him.

I can't say that isn't native content, but it's not the type of content that you'll want to focus on, since it's not the type of language that you'll normally encounter in your day-to-day life.

When I'm starting listening to things that I'm interested: documentary, news, tv shows I understand nothing. And to listen artificially created to learning or adaptive materials is very boring for me and I able to do it only for 15 minutes maximum. In result progress goes very slowly. When I'm realizing that I would reach such level which allow me to listen to that I want to listen and I would spend years for that It's very demotivate.
