Bosch motor with only 55Nm? that is way less than the 85Nm on the other bosch motors in the TE-N bikes, its not going to be enough torque if you are a bigger rider like 100kg+ The scott spark lumen which is a better all-round e-mtb has a weight of 35lbs. Magura brakes are shit and marzochi suspension is low-grade.

Absolutely agreed. This is more for lightweight athletes. And even then the range will be about half that of the full-powered bikes.

Seems like the bike industry has decided mid power ebikes fit best with trail bike travel. I would like to see more Enduro setups with these motors like the Relay and Kenevo sl

Yeah, the range is really hurt by the big travel and big tires with only 400wh batteries. But as the availability of exender batteries improves, the the big travel will bikes will come IMHO. Of course the big deciding factor is "Will enough consumers buy it, to justify the R&D effort."
