@dig86344 жыл бұрын
You can stack in some versions. The steam version lets you pass on a +2 if you have one yourself, making it a +4. The steam version also lets you jump in if someone plays an identical card to the one you have. The steam version is actually pretty great, with lots of rules you can add or remove based on what you want. They mentioned playing more than one card, which is an option, and you can turn off the challenge thing with the wild cards, or make it so that you draw until you can play. I assume this version actually has the ability to change these things, but maybe Polygon just didn't realize? Seems weird to make a UNO game without adding options for such frequently used rules.

@@danielconnor8516 If a +2 is played, you can stack another +2 and pass the buck. If a +4 wild is played, you can either stack with other +4, and/or you can challenge (as the wild card in some rulesets can only be played when you have no other option.). The challenge basically states that you believe the person who just borked you has other cards they could have played INSTEAD of the Wild/+4. It shows their hand because it's displaying that they did or did not have the cards needed to use that wild/+4. Not a thing they're doing, but other interesting rules are the 7/0 switch, which indicates that either the entire table rotates their hand clockwise on a 0, or you must trade hands with somebody on a 7.
@whitetrash86134 жыл бұрын
@@danielconnor8516 The thing is, all of those are totally house rules, just like there are in monopoly. They are not invalid and personally I agree Lol I myself play without the challenges, If the +4 is in retaliation, because It's almost like personal defence; so you can stack +2 and +4. The +4 can stack with the +2 normally but for you to stack a +2 over a +4 the colour of your +2 needs to be the same colour that was called for the +4. (For example, if I play a +4 and call blue, if you have a +2 of that colour you can keep the ball rolling)
@dig86344 жыл бұрын
@@whitetrash8613 Except not really. The steam version has all of these things as customizable within the game. The 7/0 switch, passing on + cards, challenging wild cards, jumping in if someone plays a card you have. The mixing of +2 and +4 is the only rule listed so far that isn't available in any version I've seen. I actually think the version they are playing probably lets you customize some rules, they might just not have realized when they started.
