12:31 oh buddy, do not get me started on the robots movie, this was my everything when I was like 8 for whatever reason. Had the movie on vhs, and dvd as well as blu ray when that first came out, had the official video game definitely for PC and (I think) the version for ps2 as well. Distinctly remember having that rescue the rusties cd as well (which I remember not liking lol. The actual pc/ps2 game was my jam though even though I hardly knew how to play it.) My parents made me a Rodney Copperbottom costume for Halloween that year. I was *obsessed* with this movie dude. Main story and whatnot Still holds up today, in my opinion, though it’s admittedly been a long time since I viewed it last.

YAY!! I've been rewatching your older videos all this week, happy to have a new one to put into the roster. As a kid, my favorite kind of poptarts were these Walmart brand chocolate poptarts that I remember coming in a brown box. They were all toddler me ate at breakfast for a long time, but I swear by the time I was around 6/7, they changed the recipe (along with the box I think?) and they started tasting bad. To this day I can't find proof of these poptarts existing like I remember, so I'm sure some part of my memory is wrong. RIP, my perfect chocolate poptarts. You were good as hell.

6:07 The reason these ads were like that was a trend in media to look like you stitched an ad (or whatever) together from random clips you found. Sort of like a visual collage - the vibe of flipping through channels at 4 AM in a foreign country, where you don't speak a word of the language and it all seems to blur together into one distinct weird package. The scrapbook editing style is really interesting and was definitely inspired by grunge, MTV, and DIY culture - but add in the Wacky PoMo stuff, as well as the general zaniness of the late 90s.

I distinctly remember being 9 years old and putting a strawberry milkshake flavored poptart in the toaster, only when it popped out the filling exploded all over the toaster and the countertop. I tried to clean it up but the boiling pink goop was burning my hands and i just ended up smearing it everywhere and making a bigger mess while the rest dripped into the toaster and made a terrible burned sugar smell. I have no idea how it happened, poptarts dont even have that much filling. Never had it happen before or after that again.
