Thank you so much, Miss Deb!! This had to be done! I was tired of putting off the cutter thing and I knew it would work so well with the eggshells. Plus, I don't rely on the drill, and that makes it so others can create this design easier too. I hope you will attempt to try this out and maybe create a few as gifts for friends and family. Sending my biggest hugs your way!! :)

You are right, it needed the extra detail you added. This is a gorgeous egg!

Thank you so much, Miss Elizabeth!! Most kind...and yeah, that detail usually makes the difference on an egg design being "just there" to being "WAAAAAAA". LOLOLOL!! Sending you my big hugs!! :)

AWESOMENESSS, lady!! So great!! I was hoping you would!! And Yeah, I love how the cutters work so well in concert with eggshells. They are great!! LOLOLOL!! Oh, Miss Carolyn!! LOLOL!! I totally understand, but believe it or not, but chicken eggs do have a certain strength when you create with them. I always go with the thought that, once you remove all the fluid/water/internals of the egg itself...what you have left if a fairly sturdy little eggshell. And if you use polymer clay and other things on the shell, it hold up pretty well. And even if you break it...you can always get another one! LOLOL!! Again, thank you lady!! Your comment here always gives me a little boost and keeps me creating these videos. Sending you my big big hugs!! :)

Awwww, Thank you Miss Selene!! Bless you, lady!! Sorry, I didn't pick the cutter you wanted...I will have to put that in my feathered cap for somewhere along the line into the future. Because of course, I am not done with this cutter set. And with that said, I am contemplating a new design egg wise with this set, but not the squirrel...(had to clarify because I don't want to get the hopes up...yet LOLOLOL!!) BUT...a design I absolutely love!! Would you like to see another before fall is over?...let me know here lady...I always love the input and as you know I always look forward to your comments here...it keeps me going. Do you add a lot of clay softener to your clay? Also, I noticed that you don’t put any liquid clay under the clay pieces you put on the egg? Do you have any problem with the pieces falling off? Also, what size chain are you using? Beautiful piece.
@laurajschillerАй бұрын
Yes, I do condition my clay with clay softener. And if you wish I have a video on that, not too long ago on clay softeners. The trick with softeners, of course, is not getting the clay too soft, which can happen to me time to time. I like to have my clay very pliable...just not goo. LOLOL!! And you are right on the clay about liquid clay onto the eggshell. I don't use it because it does no good. I do form the clay over the shell, and yes, it will fall off, if I don't use any kind of epoxy glue. Hence, why I love my superglue so much. I will go back in after I have baked the egg and use it to make sure the clay piece stays in place. Liquid superglue. No gels. As to the rhinestone chain, 2mm. You can easily find it in the craft stores. I do hope this all helps...and sending you my big hugs your way!! :)
