Polymer Clay Fantasy Pumpkin House Lantern || Maive Ferrando

Today I'll be showing how I made a fantasy pumpkin witch house using a glass bowl and polymer clay, that you can use as a cool decoration as well as a lantern this Halloween!
Use an LED tealight to light up the house, not a regular candle.

Had a similar idea but found a clear glass pumpkin with a lid. I think I’ll just add fairy lights under the lid. Can’t wait to have time to start this project. Yours is great.

This video was perfectly timed. I'm working with my sister and friend to make a Halloween putz house/diorama. Yesterday we made a bunch of polymer clay pieces to decorate it: pumpkins (including a jack o lantern with a hole for a small fairy light), a little Halloween cat, and a ghost. I'd love to see more videos like this.

Totally amazing, You make it look so easy, but being a crafter myself, (sewing and quilting) I know it's not. Love this tutorial and the way you did it! Thanks so much! I was always told that you could not bake the acrylic paint on the clay but looks like you did a beautiful job with that. It opens up so many possibilities for creativity. :)

I did this many times before and very rarely have I encountered problems. The paint may get a little tacky, but that depeneds on how different brands may react to different clays, and once varnished, the tackiness goes away. It definitely allows you more freedom 💕
