Yay! Hope you enjoy creating with them! We have done them both glazed and not glazed, it really just depends on the look you’re after and if they need sealing. We’ve actually don’t a few lately where we have them a UV resin glaze and they looked amazing, like faux ceramic!

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm just wondering if you think Sculpey III would be suitable for glasses trays. I would normally use Souffle or Premo for earrings but have some Sculpey III to use up.

Our pleasure! I know Sculpey have a Sculpey III trinket dish making kit so it is possible to make them with Sculpey III, I’d just maybe make them a little thicker than the one we made 😊

Will definitely be getting some sort of glasses tray, I wear them all the time too :) The only thing I was worried about was the edges flattening out during baking, but the thickness seems to be the thing for that. Is there any way of baking clay onto other clay and not having it stick? I'm thinking making a form I could use in the oven. Or maybe I could make a silicone one. Ponders for future me

So long as your clay is not too warm or soft the edges should hold up. If you do have trouble can can use some alfoil to hold up the edges 😊 Yes, you can use polymer clay as a form! We actually do that in this scraps video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHbLiYOjnpl-fM0si=rglyw93WLh7gufY7
