I really loved your creativity in these pieces, I’m just curious with respect of cause, why don’t you use liquid clay or bake n bond to fix your pieces together? I don’t get the super glue thing. I’ve found liquid clay or bake n bond to be awesome in attaching raw clay edges together, and raw to baked clay. I find my Jewelry pieces to be very strong and durable which is my goal. Is there something I’m missing with the super glue? In appreciation, Karen ☺️💜

LOLOL!! No. Nothing you are missing. It is just something I have always gone to over the years. And alot of this is due to my other love. Egg art. I use alot of epoxy on that side of the coin, so, it has just become a regular thing that I go to. But, I will take it under advisement...possibly play a little more with the bake n bond or liquid clay in this... Sending you hugs! :)

Is the backing just more clay, then baked again?

With Jewelry, I would definitely do so...just because it would most likely get handled so much and there would be a need to protect the paint from coming off of the clay. I do hope that helps...and sending hugs your way!! :)
