Polymer Clay ~ Mermaid Shell Dish

The "Mermaid Shell Dish" is tutorial #70 on my Channel!
I had used a Mermaid Mold to create the center piece of the Shell Dish,
A veneer was made from several colors of metal leaf on Translucent Clay,
The back of the the Shell Dish was created from Translucent Clay and Silver Leaf, making an design impression from a texture sheet.
The Mermaid was "painted" with Chalk Pastels and Pan Pastels. Some Mica Powders were added just for that additional glimmer.
The most difficult part of this project is getting the air out from the layers of clay while making the Shell Dish!
