(A special thank you to Maggie Maggio for coming up with the watercolor or torn paper technique. It's such fun to play with)
So after my previous water color technique I decided it would be worth playing around with it and seeing what I could come up with. This is just one of the variations I'll be sharing over the coming months.

I love this technique. I am moving my craft room into a larger space, but it's a time consuming process that has me without a space to create for the next few months. I'm ready to try these techniques that you show!! You are a really great teacher. Your process is very clear and easy to understand. I get very excited when I see that you have released a new video! I have watched these techniques through video many times, but your process has been more encouraging. Thank you for sharing!

How long do you usually let it set to dry so that it will crackle, I noticed you let it dry two times, before you painted it and after you painted it?

I started crafting about 25 years ago and I started with making wooden things and I was “you could say addicted to crackle, I even crackled a really large sofa table, of course this was way before you could get the one step crackle, you could by bottles of it or use Hyde glue. I recently bought a bottle of crackle to make some country signs for my son and daughter in laws kitchen, that she wanted done in roosters, trying to be a good mother in law and mother I homered her wishes, after she got home after being gone for 5 months; I went over to see how she liked it on her 2nd day home; the only thing she had kept was the $20.00 or more roosters. I took everything else home and will either sell it or give it to a sober living house for recovering heroine addicts. I said all of that to say that I really don’t see the crackle in the clay at least not yet and I wonder if you could use acrylic paint on pc ? I may have to try it.
@kimjones6412
@kimjones6412 6 жыл бұрын
Sooo pretty, Crackling paint looks a lot different than on clay, I think I’ll still try it though and then I’ll have to learn how to video it from my iPhone or iPad by myself; SMH 🤦‍♀️I can’t wait to learn how to use napkins with PC and make plastic troll beads and can you bake PC and add resin to it and then bake it again?
@JessamaTutorials
@JessamaTutorials 6 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't bake the resin as it can yellow and crack. I always finish baking my piece and then only put the resin on.
