Polymer Clay Tutorial How to Make Polymer Clay Jewelry Pendant Bails Step by Step Spiral Design Idea

!!Finally!! I've found time to make and upload this video. I do work a lot and sometimes late hours, and so with the holidays, I've been ridiculously busy, but here it is!
This tutorial is a continuation of the "Dry Brush Technique Tutorial," a part 2, that shows how to make a bail for the pendant made in that video.

I had to lighten and reduce contrast in this video considerably to ensure the making of this bail could be seen more clearly because I used an almost black clay. I chose to work with this color because of the mica powder used. A dark background works great with mirror micas.

Very pretty. I really like your bale. I think for variation, one of those circles would be pretty on the circle of the bale also.

love this! I didn´t catch what mixture of clay you use to make the bail so that it has flexibility. Could ou write out the two clays that you mixed before extruding to achieve the flexibility for the bail. Many thanks...just found your channel and a loving the tutotials...

how did you finish the pendat itself? did you put varnish on the pendant or some kind of sealant or just sand and buff? I ask because of the shine. Thank you

About the Cos clay, what medium do you use? Soft, medium or extra firm? Dont know anything about this clay. If i were not using an extruder and wanted to make bails, which medium on this clay would you recommend?

Hi, I use soft cosclay. It mixes in easily to premo. It's very soft, kind of like sculpey lll soft, if you're familiar with that. However, it's very strong, unlike sculpey lll. I hope you try it. I have a lot of fun with bails and have quite a few designs, but I've only shown 2 on youtube. Thanks for the question. 💗

@keelygreen6455 I will add more bail videos. They're just not as popular as the "clay techniques", videos. They're slower paced and it seems a lot of people wanted shorter content. I'm OK with some shorter videos but I don't think I can convey the nuances in some short takes. But there will be more. Thanks so much for all your support. It's made my day! 😊
