When I first started PC, which has only been 3 years or so, I remember thinking what in the world would you use translucent for?? Now it’s one of my favorites to work with!!! Love your pretties!!!

Lovely. Why use 2 resin types?
@MREStudioDesigns Жыл бұрын
Hi! I used the thinner resin on the back for shine. It stays pretty flat. The other I used on the front where I wanted it to dome. It was just a personal preference. I'm glad you liked the video! Thank you!

is it better to put a hole in a pendant before baking ,or drill one ofter? I always pick the former
@MREStudioDesigns Жыл бұрын
I have used both methods. It really depended on how thick the pieces are. When drilling holes afterward you do have to be more careful the bit doesn't slip and go slow. Especially if you are working close to an edge. In the beginning I did have some pieces break until I found my correct pace. I hope this helps. Thanks!

Beautiful! I enjoy working with Translucent too! I am about to try UV Resin for first time on my polymer clay creations. Why did you use 2 types of resin on these?

I use a thinner UV resin for the back of the piece so it is flat. I use the thicker UV resin for the front where I want it to dome. I hope this helps. Thank you!

Hello! I tried doing earrings with Premo translucent and some alcohol inks. After baking, I saw that every piece has some kind of white spots inside. Maybe you know the solution for that?😢 Thank you!❤

Those were probably bubbles. When passing the clay through the pasta machine, don't fold it completely let the machine grab it and fold it itself. Also make sure your clay is warmed up a bit first.
