Ford sucks at interchangeable parts, if you had Chevrolet, you'd have interchangeable parts and world inventory. Your older Ford is built way better than that 2017. As for P80, it's very durable and still retains glocks parts reputation. P80 is and was suppose to arm every Citizen from whats already here, train accordingly everyone.

The poly 80 is made for the gen 3 platform comparison to the gen 5 makes no sense. You should of had a gen 3 factory frame to compare that's like me comparing a ar15 to a uzi

There is an absolute difference. I'm not sure what the process is to produce Glock frames but even someone with minimal knowledge of firearms can hold both and tell right away that the Glock frames are much more solid. The P80 frame accommodates every thing the Glock frame doesn't but I'd worry about the overall integrity of it

P80 does not QC rails/blocks and consistently ships severely out of spec parts. Judging by end user feedback from various forums, percentage of unusable out of spec parts are as high as 30%. Due to out of spec rails/blocks, majority of P80 builders have to fit parts to a specific frame which makes other parts not interchangeable with other frames. P80 does not publish nor specify proper clearance tolerances range of completed frames, therefor P80 frames can not be properly built and tested to a specific standard. Due to lack of set specifications and standarnisation, P80 frames can not be safely used for defensive firearm builds, P80 products can only be safely used for educational and hobbyist purposes.

@@LeonSteelpaw If P80 customer service actually did its job in replacing bad parts with parts they QC prior to shipping instead of keep shipping out bad parts then it would be fine, but instead P80 keeps accusing end users of bad builds. On one side it's very good that P80 is fighting and winning legal cases against ATF, but on the other side their business model profits from bad product, and that's a sure way to destroy the entire movement. Personally I do not recommend P80 product to anyone, and the way things are going it's only a matter of time before P80 looses its supporting client base of lawful Americans, and they'll be left with street thugs as their primary clients.
