Sounds like Lisa really has much more of a RA diagnosis versus PMR… many good points all around thanks

Congratulation Lisa! I too had miserable PMR for 7 months, though not as debilitating as Lisa’s, and the Paddison Program completely cleared it up in 40 days. I started it 7 years ago this month. I am so thankful to Clint. I am now WFPB, pain free, no drugs and never felt better.

I wish I'd have seen this 8 months ago. My PMR diagnosis came after a Tdap vaccine set holy hell into motion. My C-RP was 68. I fought the Prednisone suggestion for a couple months but my pain and weakness equaled Lisa's and having never done pharmaceuticals I caved. When you can't even pull covers over you, or off you, in bed it seemed like death was next in line. Struggling to titrate the Prednisone is almost less fun. I was more fit than most half my age--then not. Pessimism is a close friend. Changing that is a struggle. Lisa is delightful.

Same here! I tried going without my prednisone but a day later I could Not get out of bed, no strength to pull covers over me! My hands were puffy and felt like I was hit by a freight train! I’m sticking to prednisone for now!!👍🙏

So interesting. Ive only recently been diagnosed with PMR. Ive given into the prednisone and my symptoms are mostly manageable. However I do not want to continue medicating so am looking for alternatives. Lisa’s story is so inspirational and has given me the stimulus I needed to move forward and take control. Thankyou

Finally went to RA specialist. He put me on Humira Injections. After first one, became paralyzed with pain. In formed Dr. He said to keep taking. After third injection, third month I quite. My breasts even became swollen with pain, which I never had before. That was it, I stopped and never went back to him. I am surley going to try your Paddison program

I am in the process of being diagnosed (and I am scared) with PMR and possibly Giant Cell Arteritis. I have been unwell for a year now since I had covid. I don't want to take prednizone and I don't want to risk blindness or stroke. I am considering asking about being put down..like an old horse. I have had been suffering from histamine intollerance and gut issues (maybe SIBO) I stopped all grains and dairy, and fermented foods, and of course sugar. My eyes have been puffy for over two months and the toes on my right foot started curling under some time ago. I will try the celery juice. I have learned that the body's natural anti inflammatory in the venous system comes from nitric oxide which begins to form in the mouth bacteria, however, is this bacteria is killed with mouthwash and flouride, nitric oxide will not be produced. I don't use mouthwash and I try to avoid flouride but I do have SIBO which perhaps contributes greatly to the inflammation in the body. Thanks for sharing your experience Lisa.

I went through a GCA work up Very recently. Get this checked immediately but you most likely do not have it. Trained eye doctors/MDs figure it out right away. Current medical practices are moving away from biopsies. It is likely you won’t need a biopsy. I had a CT scan to check the brain, I had follow up radiology tests to check for vasculitis, I had an eye exam and also they checked to see if I had distended vessels in my temporal forehead areas. These are things that they will do to check you. Good luck to you

I came down with PMR 2 month ago, I immediately got on the carnivora... I have not seen much results but about a month ago I cheated on the diet with sourdough bred and the flare up next morning was unbelievable! It took me 3 min to make it from my bed to the toilet. Now have done 2 fasting of 3 days each and today I'm staring a 7 days fasting. I know what between an anti inflammatory diet and the fasting I'll beat this even it if takes a year. How are you doing? did the carnivora helped?

Thanks for sharing but what exactly was the special diet? Celery juice and no oil?🤔I refuse to take predisone also as I have some Candida left in the lungs. I started getting allergies so food sensitivity does play a role. You can get tested holistically bio meridian channels cant remember the name of the testing. What helps me alot is 500 mg of aspirin. Its better than prednisone! Lol What bothers me most is the malaise and muscle weakness. Also its seasonal! As soon as summer came I flared up 100% worse . Meditation and yoga is not of God. I believe I have PMR… I’m 56 and have all the same symptoms… My CRP test came back 140… Is it possible to lower this number naturally? I am in excruciating pain unless I take high doses of ibuprophen and Tylenol which has given me tinnitus , I’ve yet to see a rheumatologist because of the wait and was put on a prednisone tapper for 2 weeks as soon as it ended the pain came back within days. And the prednisone also gave me a level 8 tinnitus. I’m in hell, can 140 CRP be lowered naturally? Good Grief!
