If he did just the bass part. Sadly it wouldn’t be as enjoyable, cause even in polyphia, the bass does get stiffed a bit like other bands, not as much, but yeah. Still not the most Bass centered band when they have 2 of the best guitarists on the planet. So of course he covered the guitar part. Otherwise. It’d be pretty boring lol

As someone who's been playing guitar for 35 years, this seems a hell of a lot more difficult than the original on a guitar. Kudos dude. Holy shit.
@gropadooper8903
@gropadooper8903 Жыл бұрын
It looks harder but it’s more likely to be around the same level of difficulty. He is using a 6 string bass, the same amount of strings a guitar has so it’s way easier. Also although it looks way harder cause there is more movement involved, It’s about the nature of the instrument itself, a bass doesn’t normally play Melodies like this, it certainly wasn’t made for it. So of course it looks hard. Not saying that Charles isn’t talented, this man is by far one of the best bass players in this generation, just remember, So are the Guitar players in Polyphia.

Charles is the definition of dedication and passion. There's tons of "casual pro" bass players out there that are pretty talented (like Davie504) that definitely can hang... but so few that put in the amount of work, practice, study, and dedication as Charles here. This man is a monster and his diet is bass. He's absolutely chewing up everything bass related with a ravenous hunger. I genuinely don't think there will ever be a piece of music he won't be able to play.

I don't know if you can even call this bass playing, he is doing it all chords, tapping, percussion, leads I would call it musical genius.

Geez. It's an odd time in human history where one of the great prodigies of our age is a youtuber, and due to that perhaps not given all the credit he deserves.

Charles, you are the most talented bass player I’ve ever seen. Insane, indeed. I wonder if these are unofficial auditions for a collaboration? Either way, very enjoyable.
