Ending solo is written by a guitarist called Rafa Rodriguez, super chill talented player. 😊
@Cjs3315 Жыл бұрын
That's his name. Not what he's "called". & Polyphia made it very clear on multiple occasions that he was a major influence & helped produce their album. Everyone already knows. If you spent half as much time practicing instead of writing pointless comments on KZbin, you might actually make something of yourself. HA. Like that's gonna happen. Wishful thinking I guess... No wonder your parents are so disappointed & worried about you. You really need to start turning your life around. You're hurting them more than you're hurting yourself. Keep that in mind, kiddo.

Thank you so much for slowly breaking down that part @ 3:14. That was driving me insane because it sounds so good and couldn't quite figure out the picking style for it. Legend.

Its ok man! I'm doing a simultaneous slide (on the D and B string) from the 4th fret to the 6th fret and back, then a simultaneous stroke on the 3rd fret on the D string and 2nd fret on the B string

heya amazing tutorial! I have some trouble with the hammer on + pull offs at 1:12 - 1:14 I play exactly the same but when I speed it up it sounds different than from what you're playing.. what can I do??
@TeddyKish2 жыл бұрын
Hey man you can try speeding this part up 2x and see if it matches what you're trying to get from the song. If it does - great! Use this tutorial :) If not - there are plenty of other tutorials of this solo on youtube, so you choose another one that'll hit some parts the way you want them :) best of luck!
@zalamanceaktas29052 жыл бұрын
@@TeddyKish Thanks for your reply! I will keep practicing on your tutorial. Maybe I play it too slow for now and perhaps speed + accuracy will improve that part for me. Will let you know how it goes:)

At 2:19 what is the thing you are doing with your thumb? its like moving away from the pick?
@TeddyKish Жыл бұрын
Hey man! In that first descending part I only play the starting note on the high E string, the rest is legato. That thing with the thumb is just something that happens to me subconsciously, I believe it is a way for my fingers to reposition the pick on my right hand once every few seconds

Hey brother, I assure you that it is not that difficult. Just takes some practice, commitment and dedication. Also, don't rush mastering the parts

Yeah it’s a lot of sixths and double stops I’d honestly just recommend noodling around in that sort of style for a bit then coming back to it

0:25 wrong note?
@TeddyKish2 жыл бұрын
Nope, but in 0:56 there's a wrong note. It should be the 10th fret instead of the 9th fret, but that's how I played it slowly anyway

yoh, whats with the weird thumb movement? really interesting that I see you hybrid pick but your thumb is throwing me off (well, in a good way) what were you doing?
@TeddyKish Жыл бұрын
Hey man, I answered this here in another question- That thing with the thumb is just something that happens to me subconsciously, I believe it is a way for my fingers to reposition the pick on my right hand once every few seconds. It actually isn't related to the hybrid picking, its just something that automatically happens to me without me noticing.. pretty weird, I know :P

if you don't have a wam bar how can you still make that noise on the guitar can i bend the strings really quick or should i skip that lol just asking

You can try lightly hitting the bridge itself and hope for the best.. but I'm afraid that sound is reserved to floating bridges exclusively
