They're not built into one another - Max and Kontakt just communicate over a MIDI bus. Hope that's helpful!

This is amazing! I am working on a project where I am using the ZSA descriptors to get snapshots of partials from field recordings. I would then like to tune the partials to the nearest quarter or eighth note. What would be the easiest way to do it using this method? If you have time, any advice greatly appreciated!

Do an FFT on the recording, find the frequency and amplitude of your partials, create your desired temperament, map the amplitudes to the new partials and do an inverse fourier transform? Is that what you're looking for? Thanks for checking out my work.

Heyy, how could you have Kontakt 5 on your Mac? I only found 6 and can't add an instrument there... This Max patch only works with Kontakt..?

This patch only works with Kontakt 5. I have plans to check out Kontakt 6 in the future, but haven't yet gotten around to it. If you don't want to use Kontakt my other video on the Temperament Generator might be useful for you. :)

@@lwolstanholme Thanks for all your kind informaion! I really want to hear how it will be, if there is a pitch change just on one note. Now I can just make a pitch change(Tune..) on the whole notes, not on a special note. Do you think, it will be a high level patch? I lost my next step, what can I do for that...

In some cases it might be easier to do this directly in Kontakt, as most instruments have a tuning function built in. However, if you want dynamic retuning I recommend checking out my other video/patch Temperament Generator. This patch has the Kontakt functionality built in, and the video on my channel will give you some ideas regarding how to make this tuning. :) thanks
