Really nice patch Ed!

@@LarsBjerregaard cheers Lars! Anuli is such an amazing module, having full polyphony makes it really versatile. I've got some sounds out of it that you wouldn't associate with Rings, need to make a proper tutorial soon.

Great patch mate!

Cheers, Anuli is so good. It's Rings, but x16 😀 You've got a hardware one right? Imagine you had 16 of those!

Now you've got me wondering if there is a polyphonic Marbles!
@patchbaycowboy3 ай бұрын
For this I recommend Notepad (similar to qubit bloom) Quantizer (for safety purposes) Sequential switch (to toggle between various variations)

Good suggestion. Slips is another sequencer that's polyphonic, I think the JW ones are too. There is actually a version of Marbles in the same collection, but it doesn't say it's polyphonic: Marmora Based on MI's Marbles, it exposes every control and adds missing features like user defined scales; super lock; t and X reset; restores missing light animations and showing polarity in the output port LEDs. It may be possible though, I would ask the dev on the VCV community or get in touch on their GitHub page. I requested a poly Rings, not sure if that's what prompted it! A few people were asking for this. There's also a poly Braids in the same collection, which is also fantastic 😃

Why??? , because Music is equally about what notes you do NOT play. ;)
@VirtualModular3 ай бұрын
@@johnnybigpotato2404well that's true, but why not? Because you can is always a reasonable argument for me! Also I'm not using 16 notes at once, because the triggers are randomised. What polyphony does is allow the notes to overlap, so you get a richer sound. With effects, it's basically giving you multiple copies of an effect in parallel, but with different settings on each channel so again it's just creating a fuller sound.
