Something to keep in mind…a lot of dehumidifiers are on the recall list. You just have to send in the cord and sticker on the back. Can get $75 and up depending on make. It may be worth to carry with you a list of makes and models. Can make more on them then scrapping just the cord. There are other products on recall lists as well….

My thots on that big pile full of electronics: Mom and Dad finally got that 35-year old son to move out and get a job. Dad enjoyed throwing out all the old laptops and gaming stuff he had bought for the boy over the years. Mom very happily tossed the many big baking pans in which she had made endless batches of lasagna for sonny and his gaming buds. I hope the folks celebrated with a nice vacation! : D

Have you furnished your whole house by picking up pieces you see? I cannot believe how much good furniture you find in those piles. I am a little conflicted because I would love to find that here where I live, but I would be also upset with how much good stuff goes to the landfill. In the city I live in, there is a once a year clean up. You can place items at your curb such as yard waste, furniture, just whatever you have except hazardous waste of course. So many people drive around gleaning from the piles that it has become hard to find anything good, lol. I still look though. I did save a couple of large plant pots for my yard this year. Garbage companies only pick up whatever you can fit in your garbage can weekly. I have a one regular garbage can and a recycle items can.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
We have quite a few things around our house that I’ve picked up. We used to have once a year hard waste pick ups but our council, and most other councils, have changed to 2 free pick ups a year booked online.
