Brilliant plugin, it's a tesseract of filter plugins, I can't even imagine how much good sounds I can get out of them

Epic! Thanks!

Goddamn i am looking forward to the next update! The current version, 7.1 i think, is already completely beast! I cant even imagine how much i can impress everyone i know after the full release! Best plugin company i know, for your contributions to sound design potential! In a previous video i commented a suggestion for a filter that was inherently left/right panned, as a part of the filter itself. I have now found a name for the types of plugins that deal with what i am looking for, spectral panner. I dont believe there exists any spectral panner filters yet, or «panning filters», which dont necessarily have to change any frequncies, only needs to pan the frequencies as a filter - which i think may create some cool effects (i hope). Especially with modulation?

Once again, if there is something that I don’t know about filters or plugins which makes me even mentioning this, idiotic, then ignore the idea completely!

Well all of our filters are stereo filters and can be modulated in an inverse manner in all sorts of ways. We don't plan a spectral filter of the usual type as it introduces latency and we want to keep filterverse latency free.

@@assafdarsagol Right, I don't know whether a filter like this would need to be spectral? And yeah, ive used the stereo effects - they're awesome! Kind of the inspiration for my comment i guess

Serum filter has a pan. Is this what you mean. I believe it changes the filter position for L and R
@TheoShahh6 ай бұрын
@@stelthtenau search spectral panner. I mean a filter versioner of that. Meldal productions spectral panner is the only one i currently know off, but it isn't that good

We are already working on the synth, but this will take a while before it's ready for the release.

Thanks. This modulation seems quite limited. The envelope curve is not much changeable and you have only one. The way you use compressor-like for ducking...maybe a real compressor is better. Thanks
@PolyverseMusic6 ай бұрын
In Filterverse, any modulation slot can host any modulator. You can have all 8 slots populated with envelope followers with different settings, different modulation targets, and cross modulation. You can also use one ENV follower to scale the amount of the second one. Filterverse is not a mastering compressor plugin, this is just a modulation example to show how flexible and creative the Filterverse modulation can be.

@@PolyverseMusicBro really requested you replace the ENV follower with a compressor.. In your next update you should just rebrand Filterverse as a standard compressor plugin - “The most revolutionary standard compressor plugin of all time”, “infected mushroom compressor”😂😂 (I’m joking btw, if that wasn’t clear)
@assafdarsagol6 ай бұрын
The examples in this video are exaggerated so people can easily hear the effects. You can reach more subtle and polished results with a bit of tweaking.

@@assafdarsagolIdk whether you were replying to me or him, but I was just joking because he said that a “real compressor is probably better”, instead of an env follower, two completely different things (Although I may have misunderstood, and that he meant that a compressor is better for ducking, sorry Gibar if that’s the case). I have filterverse, and know already how in depth and beautiful it is - I use it in almost all of my sound design nowadays. So thank you Assaf, for making this plugin!! - a group of people, including me, see you as a legend worthy of success to a higher degree, and will always, to a point of course, try to help you accomplish that if we can! - don’t forget that!
