Pom Pom Basket Weave Cake Tutorial

Super cute, pom pom cake pop and basket weave cake! I was inspired by those cute woven baskets that have different colored large pom pops on them. I think this cake turned out really cute! I had fun creating the diagonal basket weave, even though it took a pretty long time! The pom pom cake pops had to be my favorite part though. I like the turquoise one the best!

This is SO cute! I swear you look about 12 years old! You're adorable...Now, my question is, what do I use if they hate white chocolate??? I am not a white chocolate person myself...just wondering what the work around would be since chocolate might not be a good substitute or would chocolate be the substitute to go with??

You could definitely do this with regular chocolate. Just be more careful with how far you dip it in, try not to get any on the lolli stick. So the chocolate doesn’t show. If you do the grass tip piping close enough together it should cover up the chocolate color. I would have a #2 tip on had to fill any holes.
