Before you start studying! - Make sure you have a glass/bottle of water nearby - Put your phone/any distracting devices in another room (unless you are using them for work) - Have a small snack (piece of fruit/veg) - Grab any exercise books/textbooks/notes you need for studying Remember, these things take practice, so don't worry if you find it hard to concentrate! If you use this method a lot, you will eventually get into the flow of it. This is a very efficient way of studying as it allows you to recharge and recalibrate between studies. I wish you luck with your work! xx

For an ADHD brain like mine the pomodoro technique has been absolutely game changing. I get super anxious if I know I should work for hours straight and most of the time I end up not doing it. However something with knowledge that the next short break is in just 25 minutes and I am allowed to have it, makes it much easier to work for hours without procrastinating during the work rounds.

Thanks for this. I have used a different pomodoro video, but the alarm was too soft and I'd either work through the break or miss the alarm to get back. So, I stopped using it. This has a nice easy to hear but not so startling alarm that sounds like nothing else going on around me and that is a great idea to draw my attention. and because it is distinct, I can still play other music and not have the alarm drowned out because it's too soft or too short to notice. I usually have other windows and apps going over the video so i can't use the time clock as a visual reference. I hope this allows me to use the time keeping strategy better than before.

I finally found a method that works for me. These small "rewards" help me keep focused because I know I'll have a break soon
